Course Details
The aim of the Basic First Aid/CPR course is to equip candidates with the necessary knowledge, in both theory and practical First Aid at a fundamental level to enable them respond to first aid medical emergencies when on and off work.
The Students, on completion of the course, will have the skill and academic knowledge to administer fundamental first aid, which should prevent the patient/patients injury escalating.
As the East African oilfields are mostly in very remote site settings, student need to rapidly identify conditions that will require advanced medical intervention in order to mobilize the necessary medical teams as soon as possible.
The course is conducted over a two day period (seven hours per day.) Examinations are concluded on the afternoon of the second day of the course.
